BUILT FOR MOSQUITO BEHAVIOR

Control the places mosquitoes spend the day

Good mosquito control is not a quick pass over the lawn. We focus on the shaded, protected surfaces where adult mosquitoes rest and where people actually use the yard.

Target resting areas

Treatment is directed to foliage, fences, eaves and other shaded resting surfaces in the agreed outdoor area.

Outside only

You do not need to be home. A typical service takes about 20 minutes when the yard is ready.

Warm season rhythm

Recurring service runs monthly from April through October to stay ahead of reinvasion and seasonal pressure.
WHAT TO EXPECT

How Mosquito Control works

1

Learn where bites happen

We ask which parts of the yard you use, when mosquitoes are worst and whether there are obvious water or shade sources.
2

Treat the resting habitat

We make a targeted outdoor application to the places adult mosquitoes are most likely to rest while avoiding flowering plants.
3

Stay ahead of reinvasion

Mosquitoes can fly in from surrounding properties, so recurring service manages pressure rather than pretending the yard can be made permanently mosquito free.
WHAT THE SERVICE COVERS

Backyards and agreed outdoor living areas

The service is for mosquitoes in your backyard or another outdoor area we agree to protect. Source reduction still matters because standing water can produce new adults quickly, but adult mosquitoes can also arrive from beyond your property.
Patios & decks
Fence lines
Shrubs & shaded foliage
Eaves & protected edges
Backyard gathering areas
Helpful context: standing water control alone is rarely enough. Adult mosquitoes may fly in from elsewhere, which is why the program combines practical source reduction with treatment of resting habitat. Read the Venus mosquito guide. BEFORE SERVICE

Give us clear, dry access to the yard

  • Mow the lawn recently
  • Turn sprinklers off during service and for at least one hour afterward
  • Put outside pets up
  • Pick up outside clutter and pet items
  • Keep outside workers out of the treatment area
After treatment, follow the technician’s reentry instructions and stay off treated areas until the application is dry, typically about one hour.
