Termite control is not a one size fits all perimeter spray
The right treatment depends on where the termites are active, how the structure is built and which areas can be reached.
Licensed inspection first
We inspect visible and accessible areas to determine whether the evidence is subterranean termites or another wood destroying pest.
Spot or partial treatment
A small, defined activity area may be treated as a spot. Broader construction or access conditions may require a partial treatment.
Allow time for elimination
Subterranean termites may remain visible for a period after treatment. It can take up to 90 days to eliminate activity in the treated area.

We inspect the evidence, construction, visible foundation and accessible interior areas before recommending treatment.

The bid identifies the treatment area and method based on slab, pier and beam, penetrations, joints and other access conditions.

Document the coverage
The proposal states exactly what area is covered, the warranty period and whether any renewal option applies.

The warranty follows the documented treated area
Post construction spot and partial treatments carry a one year warranty on the documented treated areas. Treatment is intended to achieve a 100% reduction in subterranean termites in those covered areas.

No damage repair warranty: Venus termite warranties cover the treatment response in the documented covered area. They do not promise repair, replacement or compensation for termite damage. Read the subterranean termite guide. If the evidence is less obvious, compare carpenter ant frass with drywood termite pellets and other signs.
BEFORE SERVICE
Make the evidence and treatment area accessible
- Plan to provide interior access for the inspection
- Show us where you have seen termites, wings, mud tubes or damage
- Put outside pets up for treatment
- Turn sprinklers off around treatment areas
- Clear clutter and keep workers away from treatment areas
The inspection usually takes about 45 minutes. Actual treatment can take up to six hours depending on the construction and preparation work required.

TERMITE TREATMENT WARRANTY
One year on the documented treated area
If the promised treatment result is not achieved in the covered area during the warranty period, Venus returns to address that covered activity at no additional treatment charge. It may take up to 90 days after treatment for termites to be eliminated from the treated area.
Spot and ordinary partial treatments are not automatically renewable. A partial treatment that covers the entire accessible perimeter because that is every treatable location may qualify for renewable whole structure coverage. The written bid controls.
