A PLAN FOR YOUR PROPERTY

You shouldn’t have to guess what’s happening above the ceiling.

We start by listening to what you’ve seen and heard. Then we inspect for rodent activity and exterior entry points so we can explain the work your property needs.

Your estimate identifies the proposed service, repairs, and price before work begins. Rodent control is quoted for the property after inspection.

Not sure which rodent you’re seeing? Our house mouse guide and roof rat guide explain the differences and common signs. Hearing noises overhead? Read our guide to identifying attic noises.

HOW RODENTGARD WORKS

From the first inspection
to continued protection.

01

Inspect and make a plan

We identify the rodents, locate activity and entry points, and assess the work needed. Tell us when and where you’ve noticed the problem.

02

Set traps and outdoor bait stations

We place traps in indoor areas of activity and secure rodenticide in outdoor bait stations. The number and placement depend on your property.

03

Monitor until control is achieved

We check traps, remove captured rodents, and service bait stations. Checks are typically twice weekly during the control phase. Most infestations take 1 to 4 weeks, though some take longer.

04

Close the entry points

After the rodents inside have been captured, we close the agreed entry points. Repairs requiring carpentry, masonry, or other skilled trades are outside this service.

PROTECTION AFTER CONTROL

A six month warranty.
A way to keep it going.

RodentGard covers the listed rats or mice inside the treated structure, including the garage, attic, and crawlspace where present. Qualifying warranty service addresses renewed activity under your agreement.

With optional six month maintenance, we inspect and service the protection in place. Your six month warranty restarts after the maintenance work is completed.

GETTING READY

A little preparation keeps the work moving.

Please be there for the inspection to explain what you’ve noticed. We’ll also need interior access when checking traps. You can meet us or arrange access with a key or garage code.

More questions about service ↓

Before a scheduled visit

  • Put outdoor pets away and turn sprinklers off.

  • Unlock gates and make interior traps accessible.
  • Keep vegetation trimmed and arrange for outside workers to be away during service.

HOMES & RENTAL PROPERTIES

Clear communication
from the start.

For homeowners

We’ll explain what we found, which openings we can repair, and what needs attention from you or a contractor. You’ll know how access and visits will work before we begin.

For rental owners and managers

Start with a conversation between our team and the owner or manager. We’ll discuss the occupant’s observations, the property, and access for inspection and trap checks.

Share the preparation requirements with the occupant so everyone knows what’s needed.

AFTER THE CURRENT PROBLEM IS SOLVED

Looking for broader home protection?

Ask us about an ongoing home pest control plan. Exterior rodent prevention in an eligible plan is a separate service from removing an infestation already inside. Active infestations require their own assessment and quote.

YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Before we get started.

How long does rodent control take?

Most infestations take 1 to 4 weeks to bring under control. The inspection helps us estimate the time for your property, but some infestations take longer. Entry point repairs follow capture of the rodents inside.

How long is each visit?

The inspection and most service visits take about 30 to 45 minutes. Entry point repairs may take 2 to 3 hours, depending on the work involved.

Do you use rodent bait inside?

Our RodentGard program uses traps indoors and rodenticide secured in outdoor bait stations. Traps are placed out of reach of children and pets or in protective containers. Follow the technician’s instructions and leave traps and stations where they’re placed.

Will you repair every opening?

We repair the entry points included in the agreed scope where a skilled trade isn’t needed. Larger structural work, carpentry, masonry, and similar repairs need to be handled separately. We’ll explain the findings during the estimate.

How much does it cost, and how do I pay?

Pricing depends on the inspection and proposed work. Half is due after trap and bait station installation, with the remainder due after exclusion. You’ll receive an invoice with an online payment link, or you can pay your technician by card or check.

Is rodent control included in regular pest control?

Full rodent remediation is quoted separately. If you have a home protection plan with exterior rodent prevention, let us know so we can review your coverage and determine what’s needed for the current problem.
