What HomeGard PLUS includes
The HomeGard PLUS Pest Control Plan keeps the full home, lawn, and exterior rodent protection included with HomeGard. It adds a detailed termite inspection, two TB1 monitors, and a monitor check during every scheduled visit.
Quarterly household pest control, carpenter ants, whole lawn fire ants, exterior rodent protection, and qualifying warranty services.
We inspect accessible areas for visible termite activity, mud tubes, and conditions that may support termite activity.
We place two termite monitors around the home and leave them in place as part of the ongoing program.
We inspect both monitors during each scheduled HomeGard PLUS service, not only once a year.
If termites appear inside a monitor, we treat that activity with fipronil and continue checking the monitor.
You receive 25 percent savings on each qualifying termite spot treatment affecting less than 10 linear or square feet.
What to expect
The first service establishes the HomeGard protection around your property and adds the termite monitoring system. Later visits adjust for seasonal pest pressure while keeping the termite monitors and exterior rodent stations under regular observation.
We inspect inside and outside, treat covered pest activity, address lawn fire ants, evaluate rodent entry points, complete appropriate small repairs, install two exterior rodent stations, and place two TB1 termite monitors.
Four scheduled visits focus on seasonal household pests, carpenter ants, fire ants, exterior rodent conditions, and a check of both termite monitors.
Covered pests receive qualifying warranty service. If a termite monitor shows activity, we treat the activity inside the monitor and explain whether the structure needs a separately priced treatment.
Termite monitoring
Termite monitoring gives us another way to watch for activity near the home. We combine visual inspection with two TB1 monitors that remain around the structure. During every scheduled visit, we check the monitors and look for mud tubes, visible activity, and conditions that deserve attention.
When termites appear inside a monitor, we treat that activity with fipronil and continue monitoring. Activity at the structure requires a separate treatment recommendation. HomeGard PLUS customers receive 25 percent savings on each qualifying spot treatment of less than 10 linear or square feet, and as many qualifying spots as necessary may be treated.
Exterior rodent protection
HomeGard PLUS includes the same exterior rodent protection as HomeGard. We inspect likely entry points, repair accessible small openings with appropriate materials, and install two rodenticide stations around the perimeter. We service the stations at least quarterly.
If rodents are already active inside when the plan begins, removal and corrective work require a separate estimate. If rodents break through after enrollment, we trap them, identify the failure, and correct a failed entry repair at no additional charge. Exterior rodent breach coverage begins after the preventive system is established and continues under the combined year round warranty. Rodents already inside when the plan begins require a separate bid.
The science of pest control
HomeGard PLUS uses the PerimeterGard approach developed by Dr. Scott Lingren. It is built around Integrated Pest Management, so we identify the pest, understand its biology, and use prevention, monitoring, and targeted treatment where each will do the most good. A 2002 study of an IPM program in federal buildings reported a 93 percent reduction in pesticide use while pest service requests dropped 89 percent.
Clear service boundaries
HomeGard PLUS provides broad pest protection and ongoing termite monitoring. Some existing infestations, inspections, and treatments still require separate service.
HomeGard PLUS monitors for termite activity. Treatment at the structure is separate. Qualifying spot treatments receive 25 percent savings.
A Wood Destroying Insect Report for a real estate transaction is a separate inspection and service.
Rodents already inside, German cockroaches, bed bugs, active flea or tick infestations, mosquitoes, wildlife, and other excluded pests require separate service.
Compare your options
Choose HomeGard PLUS when you want the complete HomeGard program with termite monitoring added. By comparison, HomeGard leaves out the termite monitoring, YardGard focuses on outdoor biting pests, and TotalGard combines both types of protection.

See TotalGardThe Venus guarantee
HomeGard PLUS has one combined warranty throughout the year and every season for pests and services covered by the plan. We provide warranty service at no additional charge as often as reasonably needed. Routine household pest service aims for at least a 90 percent reduction in listed pests in covered areas. The warranty does not extend to excluded pests, indoor rodent infestations present at enrollment, or repairs requiring another trade. Termite monitoring does not include free house treatment or a termite damage repair warranty. Most treatments need 10 to 14 days to reach full effectiveness. If covered activity remains after that period or returns between scheduled visits, contact us for qualifying warranty service at no additional charge. Exterior rodent protection follows its specific warranty terms. The termite portion is a monitoring service, with treatment at the structure priced separately. The service agreement controls the full terms and available remedies.

A qualifying spot treatment addresses a specific affected location measuring less than 10 linear or square feet. If activity is broader or the structure needs another treatment approach, we explain the recommendation and provide separate pricing.
Usually, no. Most scheduled visits focus on the exterior, including the termite monitors and rodent stations. If indoor treatment is needed, we will arrange an appointment.

The listed price is for single family homes up to 3,500 square feet on lots up to one quarter acre.
