Dr. Scott Lingren, founder and President of Venus Pest Company, holds a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Entomology (the study of insects) and is a Board Certified Entomologist. This is very rare in an industry where only 18% of companies have a staff entomologist and 9% of company owners have graduate degrees. Scott has been involved in entomology since the age of 10 when he first started working with his father on cotton pest research.
Dr. Scott, working in pest management for the agriculture industry, left corporate America in 2001 to start Venus Pest Company from the ground up. His mission was to create a new pest control company that would stand above all the others due to a higher level of professionalism, dedication, enthusiasm, and most of all...guaranteed results.
That mentality has allowed Venus Pest Company to grow along with the Brazos Valley over the years.
